Dreams take me when I am on the beach,
I walk and ask about you, each time beseech.
I keep asking the sea, hoping for a reply,
But it remains silent, leaving me to cry.
I talk with the sea, sharing my pain,
But the waves scream, driving me insane.
I try to come to myself, to let it all go,
But the images take over, they seem to grow.
The sea stretches before me, infinite and vast,
And I feel so small, so insignificant at last.
